A Local Concrete Company That Keeps You Posted
We hear the same complaint from homeowners again and again: the work turned out fine, but nobody ever told them when the crew was coming. A torn-out driveway with no pour date is stressful. So we run our business on clear schedules and plain updates.
Concrete has a lot of moving parts. The plant has to deliver on time, the forms have to pass inspection and the weather has to cooperate. On the coast, a damp marine layer can slow how fast a slab is ready to finish, so we plan pour mornings with that in mind. When something shifts, we tell you why and what the new plan is.
We focus on new concrete for your home, from front walkways to full backyard slabs. If you want to see how we approach a specific project, each service page walks through it.
Concrete Work for Your Home, Front to Back
Most of our jobs are new flatwork at your home: driveways, patios, walkways and the side yard nobody likes walking through after it rains. We also pour pool decks, RV parking pads, garage floors, courtyards, steps and plain slabs for sheds or equipment. If you want a finish that looks like stone or brick, our stamped concrete page explains the patterns and colors. Pick the project closest to yours and we will talk through the details by phone.

Why Homeowners Plan Their Projects With Us
A concrete job touches your driveway, your yard and your week. We work so you always know what is happening next and when.
A timeline before we start
Your estimate lays out the order of days: demo, forming and inspection, pour day and how long to stay off the new surface. You can sort out parking, pets and guests ahead of time instead of guessing.
Arrival windows, not all-day waits
We give you a morning window for each crew day. If the ready-mix truck is running late from the plant, we tell you instead of leaving you wondering.
We call when the plan changes
Rain, a soft subgrade or a delayed delivery can move a pour. When that happens, you hear it from us with the new date and the reason, before the day you were expecting us.
Line-item estimates you can read
Demolition, base, reinforcement, concrete, finish and haul-off are listed separately. You can see what you are paying for and where a change in size or finish would move the total.
Your property kept tidy
We protect walls, plants and neighboring surfaces from splatter and wash out away from your landscaping. Broken concrete and spoils leave with us.
What Moves the Price of a Concrete Project
Every job is priced from what we see at your home, not a flat rate per square foot. A few things make the biggest difference. Knowing them helps you decide where to spend and where to save.
We visit, measure and look at access and soil, then give you a written, line-item estimate with the expected timeline. Your quote starts with a phone call.
- Size and thickness
- Patios usually go in at about four inches thick. Driveways and RV pads need extra depth and heavier steel to hold the weight of vehicles, so each square foot takes more concrete and more reinforcement.
- Removing what is there
- Tearing out old concrete, asphalt or pavers adds labor and disposal. Thick slabs with rebar take longer to break up and haul than thin, cracked walks.
- Access to the work area
- Backyards behind narrow side gates may need a concrete pump or wheelbarrows instead of pouring straight from the truck chute. That changes the crew size and equipment on pour day.
- Base and soil condition
- Soft or uneven ground needs to be dug out, filled with compacted base and graded for drainage. We only know how much once we look at the soil.
- Finish and color
- Plain broom texture costs the least. Adding a pressed pattern, color mixed into the concrete, exposed stone or a protective sealer brings in extra material and more hands-on time at the finish.
- Permits
- Some work, such as a new driveway approach at the street, needs a city permit and inspection. The fee and the inspection date both factor into cost and timing.
How a Job Runs, Start to Finish
Here is what a typical project looks like. Smaller jobs move faster, and larger ones may add a day or two in the middle.
- 1
Phone call and site visit
Describe the project over the phone and we pick a day to see it in person. On that visit we measure, check drainage and access, and go over finish options with you.
- 2
Estimate and dates
You get a written estimate with a proposed start date and the order of work. Once you approve it, we lock in the dates and order the concrete.
- 3
Demo, grading and forms
We remove old surfaces, compact the base, set forms and place reinforcement. If a permit is required, the inspection happens here, before any concrete goes in.
- 4
Pour and finish
Pour day starts early. We place, level and finish the concrete, cut or tool control joints so cracking happens where it should, and clean up the same day.
- 5
Curing and walkthrough
We walk the finished work with you and hand you real dates for each use. People can usually go first, within a couple of days, while the car waits closer to a week.

Questions Homeowners Ask Us
How long does a typical concrete project take?
A simple walkway or small patio often takes two or three working days from demo to pour. A full driveway or backyard can take a week or more, especially if a permit inspection is involved. Your estimate lists the expected days so you can make arrangements ahead of time.
When can I walk and drive on new concrete?
Foot traffic is usually fine once the first 24 to 48 hours have passed. Cars should stay off a new driveway for roughly a week, and heavier vehicles like RVs need longer. Concrete keeps gaining strength for about a month, and we give you the specific dates for your job.
What happens if it rains on pour day?
We watch the forecast in the days before your pour. If rain is likely, we move the date rather than risk a damaged surface, and we call you with the new day as soon as we decide. Forms and base work can often go ahead in light weather.
Do you handle permits?
Yes, when a project needs one, such as a new driveway approach at the street. We pull the permit, book the inspection and build that step into your timeline so it does not catch you by surprise.
Will my new concrete crack?
Concrete shrinks as it cures, so some hairline cracking is normal. We reduce it with a well-compacted base, proper reinforcement and control joints placed so cracks follow straight lines instead of wandering across the slab.
Do you take out the old concrete first?
Yes. Breaking out the old slab, asphalt or pavers is part of most of our jobs, and it shows up as its own line on your estimate. We haul the debris away, so you are not left with a pile in the yard or a dumpster to arrange.
Is your work covered by a warranty?
Yes. Our concrete work comes with a 1-year warranty. If something about the work concerns you in that first year, phone us and we will set a time to come take a look.
Do I need to be home while you work?
Not the whole time. We like to meet you on the first morning and at the final walkthrough. In between, we just need access to the work area, water and a clear path for the truck or pump.
